We are pleased to announce our new executive committee for the coming academic year. This year’s committee consists of six members, in which two of them, Karin Wei and Sarah Haslizan, have been selected as the Co-presidents.
To quote Karin Wei, a Ba Business and Management student in her third and final year at Henley Business School:
“I’m very excited to be part of the committee this year as the society has made great impression on me since the first event I attended in my first year. My interpretation of Entrepreneurship has not only been shaped by academic studies but mainly from my own unique entrepreneurial experiences. Among them being my first start-up in high school, student enterprise at the University and assisting the Entrepreneurship society during the Flagship conference last year. I have from these experiences realised how much I enjoy being part of a like-minded team, collaborating and sharing ideas and experiences.”
Sarah Haslizan, a Bsc Biomedical Science student also in her final year adds following:
I believe running the Entrepreneurship Society would be a huge responsibility and challenge that I would definitely enjoy despite being a biomedical science student. Everyone should have the essence of an entrepreneur for more greater success in the lives. Hence, I would love to welcome all students of all courses to this society with open arms and readiness to provide useful knowledge that could strengthen their careers in the future through our events. The qualities and skills that are acquired through the course of events will definitely shape up Reading students to become a great employee, boss and also individual.
